Ear Infections

Parents, are you frustrated with your child's ear infections -- even though your child has ear tubes? Your child may qualify for this study of an investigational medication to treat middle ear infections in children with ear tubes. He or she may be eligible if between six months and 12 years old, has had ear tubes longer than 72 hours that are in working order, and has otorrhea for 21 days or less duration that's visible by parent/guardian.

Diabetes - Type 2

This trial will evaluate an investigational inhaled insulin for a period of 24 weeks. Volunteers may be eligible if they are ages 18 to 80, have had a clinical diagnosis of type 2 diabetes for at least six months, are receiving metformin and a secretagogue combination therapy, and have been non-smoking for at least six months.

The research site is in Tacoma, Wash.

Post Menopause

This study will evaluate an investigational oral drug to determine if it safely and effectively treats postmenopausal symptoms. You may be eligible if you are between the ages of 40 and 80 and have postmenopausal symptoms. Qualified participants will receive all study-related care and study drug at no cost.
